Cheryl’s Christmas List

November 14, 2017 / Design / Cheryl Noble

Andria’s Christmas list got me thinking about what I want, and Seth has been asking me for ideas. So, I figured it was time to nail down what I want (other than those amazing Belgian waffles Seth brought me home from one of last year’s Christmas parties…Yum.)

Unfortunately, half of the things I want are on the pricier side (sorry, Seth!) I’m keeping my fingers crossed they’re significantly discounted on Black Friday.

I’ve always been told to start with an easy win, so first…

Cheap Gifts

The Rifle Paper Co. calendar is on my list every year, and I’m in love with their 2018 Yucatan Design.

I can’t help it. I have a girl crush on Joanna Gaines, so I need a subscription to the Magnolia Journal.

I’ve claimed 2018 as the year I do some serious soul searching into the next stage of my life. My boys are more self-sufficient and I’m feeling some space to take some career risks. I’ve read some good things about this book, so I’d like to give it a go. (Those shoes are now in my regular rotation and I love them.)

I’ll also need a good journal in which to record all my deep thoughts, and I’m a sucker for Moleskine. In tomato red, please (duh.)

I love the products by Newly. Have you heard of them? Their design is amazing and they use sustainable production practices. We already have their whiskey tumblers and Spanish wine glasses made from recycled glass. I need to complete our collection with a set of their dinner glasses.

Monthly wine club subscription. This isn’t really cheap, but we need some wine to pour in our Newly glasses, right? We’ve had a Winc subscription before, and were very happy with the selections we received.

Now, for the stretch goals…

Gifts on the Expensive Side

Kork Ease Booties. I shared these in my fall shoes post, and a friend commented that Kork Ease are totally worth the splurge.

I’ve had my eye on this Pendleton blanket for a couple years. It’s red, and it’s inspired by Mt. Rainier National Park, where I spent many happy childhood days. My love for the mountains comes from looking at Mt. Rainier pretty much every (non-cloudy) day growing up in Seattle.

A Schoolhouse Clock. Because it’s red. And it’s really important to know what time it is.

We still use our Bose Sound Dock that’s at least 8 years old. It sounds great, but none of our iPhones fit anymore…time to upgrade our system! I love the idea of the Sonos 1 because you can add to it, and you control it from your phone via wifi.

I just poked a hole in my old down jacket while camping this weekend. Time to get a new one! Plus, my old one was pretty thin and I want to break out of my black coat rut.

There you go, folks. I’m keeping my fingers crossed Seth and Santa check this list out.

What are you hoping to get this Christmas?
