As I mentioned in a post last week, we’re currently looking in earnest to buy a house. It’s fairly daunting around in Silicon Valley…we put in our first offer this week. THERE WERE 50 OTHER OFFERS ON THE SAME HOUSE. I don’t even know how to process this…
Anyhoo, since we’re moving, I haven’t been tackling any decor projects in our current house. And, I’m trying to stay away from planning the design of any of the houses we look at. I really don’t want to get my hopes up too high.
What I HAVE been thinking about it how to destress myself. If I don’t have a house to make pretty, then I can hopefully make myself prettier. There are a handful of beauty products I’ve been eyeing over the past few months, so I figure now is high time for a little de-stressing and self-care.
So, here’s the list of products I’ve been itching to try out…might be time for a girlfriend weekend getaway to give them all a go.
Baby Foot Peel
This looks totally gross, and totally awesome. My feet are pretty rough, and I’d like to smooth them out before I start wearing sandals again. Which, with the weather we’ve been having lately, could be any day.
Snail Mask
I’ve been reading about these things for a long time. It’s time to give it a go.
Eye Shadow Stick
I really like the look of eye shadow when I take the time to put it on. Problem is, I never take the time. So, maybe this $4 product will be the ticket to upping my eye makeup game (which now consists of an eyelash curler and mascara.)
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
I also rarely take the time to wash and style my hair. Because of this, I love dry shampoo. I’ve seen rave reviews about this product. Sign me up!
Living Proof Night Cap Overnight Perfecter
Another Living Proof product I’ve heard is amazing. Plus, you just put it on and go to sleep. This is the hair treatment of this lazy girl’s dreams (literally!)
Oribe Cream for Style
I must be worried about my hair, because here’s my third hair product. Apparently this is the go-to for professional hair stylists. If $18 can make my hair look like a professional did it for me, then I’m sold.
Wet Brush Pro Shine Hair Brush
Hair product #4. Again, I hear it’s a miracle worker. My hair is in need of a miracle these days. One that I don’t have to do much work to get.
Oil Cleansing
I use Argan oil on my face overnight. But, I’d like to try using it as a cleanser in the mornings. I’ve read you can combine it with baking soda to create a gentle, totally natural exfoliator you can use everyday.
