If you remember my post about my family room back in April, I was really struggling with the tone on tone beige everywhere. I lovingly deemed our family room “50 Shades of Beige”.
Well, surprise! I’ve got a solution to my 50 Shades of Beige problem. It’s this guy and his name is “freaking big gray couch”!
Oh, man…I feel so much better now that the beige is broken up a bit. We have some color and gone are the well-loved marshmallow couches!
It all happened when Greg took the day off work and we went out to lunch. We just happened to have lunch next to Arhaus Loft and just happened to walk in afterwards to browse. And then, it just so happened that this sectional was on the floor display and 70% off the original price. Seriously, guys…we had no choice. I knew that when we finally decided to buy a new couch we could spend almost double what we paid for this one and it wouldn’t be Arhaus quality.
Here’s the sectional on their website. It’s on sale now for $5,000 (insert huge emoji eyeballs!), and that’s a lot for a couch, but like I said…we paid 70% off the original price. I still can’t believe it.
There have been plenty of times that I’ve walked into that store and walked right back out, but if you go when they’re having a sale, you can find some serious deals.
Here are some more pics from different angles.
Now, as you can see, this is one huge piece of furniture, so I had to have something substantial on the other side of the room so that the room didn’t look lopsided.
I decided to move the leather chair from the front room into the family room to create some more weight on the other side.
The chair totally works for that corner and I really love how it balances out the room.
Guess what’s in the opposite corner???? Yup.
Maybe I need to make another trip to Arhaus soon so I can get Chairy out of my house!!!!
Have a great weekend friends and thank you for reading! We appreciate your comments and all of the love we’ve gotten recently about our posts! Keep ’em coming!
